[She turns on the video feed as she reads aloud this thing she found called a 'horoscope' from a magazine she found'. The general idea of this horoscope intrigued her, so she decided to see what hers was for today.]

"Make a date with yourself as soon as you possibly can -- take yourself out to a nice long lunch, buy yourself that hot new gadget you've had your eye on, book a luxuriously long massage or just hole yourself up in your bedroom with a good book for a few hours. Today you've got to do something for yourself -- and let everyone else fend for themselves for the day. If you don't remind yourself that you're worthy of indulgences and preferential treatment every once in a while, then who will?"

Maybe I will take myself out to lunch today. That sounds like a wonderful idea! So does a massage and just reading a book in my room with no distractions.

Yes, that sounds like a plan!

[With a small giggle, she looks towards the camera with a smile and then turns it off.]

((ooc: Estelle is affected by the That's Your Horoscope for Today curse. Basically, she is going to be very unnaturally selfish and could care less about that child that may have just tripped and hurt themselves right in front of her.

Action open either for housemates/people visiting the house when she's holing herself up in her room, or out and about getting her lunch, that massage or just wandering about the City.))

[Maybe some of that ought to sound a little off to Rita, but she thinks Estelle deserves some indulgence. So while she has no idea what a horoscope is supposed to be and doesn't care, neither does she really have a problem with her friend's plans. Maybe she'll just go say a quick hello.

But then, Rita's a cat today, so "hello" means coming over with a mew, tail raised happily.]

[Estelle may have been a little curious at some point and looked through horoscopes and studied up on what they were. Of course, she didn't quite believe them, but in a way, they were kind of fun to read! Naturally, she doesn't have a birthday that matches to this world, but somehow whatever her birthday is transcribed into February 28th, making her a Pisces, which was the horoscope she read for the day.

Oh, look! A kitty! She's going to kneel down attempt to pet it, because trying to get animals to like her is something she's still trying to do. But she can't spend too long attempting to pet it because she will he getting hungry soon!]

[If she knew what it was, Rita might realize that she doesn't really know what Estelle's birthday is--whether here or at home. It's something she never would've thought about, but now...

Now, she's too busy pausing in front of her friend and letting Estelle pet her. It feels surprisingly nice--really, there's nothing scary about Estelle! And she starts to purr, butting her head against her friend's knee.]

[Oh, she's so happy that this kitty is allowing her to per her! So cute, just so cute! One of the few things she's always wanted is happening today (aside from the one talking pony she pet on that strange day, but she never saw them again) so maybe Estelle will indulge in petting the kitty just a little. And she's purring too and asking for more attention!]

Oh, you're so cute! I'm so glad I finally get to pet one of our animals!

[Yep, Estelle has come to the conclusion that this cat is one of the house kitties!]

[Nooo, she's not a house kitty-! But she can't really express this in any way but a little meow, and Estelle's petting feels too nice to get really upset. More happy purring!]

[And Estelle interprets that meow as a yes, because it doesn't seem to be a stray, and only silly people would think one of their friends turned into an animal.

So she's just going to continue to gently pet her.]

[Rita would probably like to claim that she'd figure it out despite her very poor track record with that.....

More importantly, though, Estelle's really happy! And Rita's embarrassment is short-lived as she pushes her head against Estelle's hand and brushes against her legs.]

[No, she will not think of her poor track record with animals! She is going to think that today is just her lucky day. That's a much better way to look at it, right?

Feeling the kitty brush against her legs, she can't help but let out a giggle. This is definitely a first for her, and she's going to enjoy the feeling of an animal actually loving on her for once!]

[Even if that animal is only an animal for the day...!

Rita actually feels pretty glad that this is making Estelle so happy. She sits on the floor in front of her, content and purring. Really, this isn't bad at all.]

[And then tomorrow she can cry over it a little and then appreciate Rita even more for making her ever so happy today!

Watching her sit on the floor, Estelle kneels in front of her and places her hand on the cat's head once more, petting her gently. Estelle was getting a little bit hungry now, but for the moment cat > food.]

[Rita...could maybe pretend that the cat wasn't her-! Except for the part where the cat disappears tomorrow and a human Rita is nowhere to be found today...

But for now, she purrs away, and can't help but stand up again to rub against Estelle. She's having trouble reading, so they should hang out together today!]

[Well, Estelle hasn't looked for Rita, nor has she cared to look for her. Right now, it's just her and this kitty, and that's all that matters.

They could hang out today, though she planned on having lunch soon. Then a crazy thought hits her!]

Maybe we could find a restaurant that allows cats to eat in as well as humans. Doesn't that sound fun?

[She has this new animal friend, she may as well take care of it and ignore any human friends she has today. Yes, this kitty was part of the plan of making today all about her!]

[This is going to be a day all about Estelle, after all...And Rita doesn't mind spending some time out with her, even as a cat. And so Estelle gets a mew and another headbutt as a sort of agreement!]

You think it does? Well, we should go do that! Maybe we could find a restaurant that sells fish, doesn't that sound good?

[Yes, she is being considerate of the cat, but Estelle likes fish herself, especially sushi, so it's all good. Getting up, she goes and grabs her necessary money to spend on herself today and looks at the cat.]

Shall we be going?

[Maybe this cat will follow her! That would be amazing!]

[Fish? Ugh. Rita protests to this! With...just another meow.

...Oh well, maybe she can change Estelle's mind when they get there. Rita looks up at her and stands, ready to go too. She'll certainly follow!]

[Oh, that meow sounded a little different. Maybe it was excited for fish! Cats like fish, right?

So out the door she goes with the kitty following her. This day is a dream come true! She has an animals that likes her! Truly, even if she's being one selfish little princess today, it makes her happy this is happening!]

[Rita's happy when Estelle's happy! Especially since her friend doesn't appear to be cursed, as far as she can tell. In fact, she's so happy, she can't help but wind through Estelle's legs as they walk.]

[firstaid]

[And Estelle is doing her best not to trip over the kitty as she winds through her legs. Though she can't be upset at that - it means the kitty likes her, right? And that's a good thing!]

So the restaurant I'm thinking of is not too far away from here. In fact, it should just be around the corner.

[And towards that way they go! A yummy seafood restaurant for the kitty! The sushi they serve is a plus because that's one of Estelle's favorite foods!]

[Estelle is this kitty's best friend--there's no denying that!

And Rita doesn't go to restaurants very often (Tyr knows not to bring her seafood places, at least), so she has no idea what kind of place Estelle has in mind and just tries to keep up with her as best she can.]

[Such a sweet kitty. She’s so happy that one of the kitties has taken a liking to her (even if that will change tomorrow).

And while walking to a restaurant, a small boy tripped and skinned their knee, right in front of both of them. It’s obvious they are need in a teensy bit of medical attention, but Estelle just blatantly ignores it and moves on like she hadn’t seen anything. La de da, oh look, here’s the seafood restaurant she was looking for!]

[Rita actually pauses when the kid trips, partially out of surprise and partially out of the expectation that Estelle will do her usual thing...Wait, where's she going?

Rita meows after her. Estelle!]

[And Estelle hears the meow and just looks back with a smile.]

Are you excited to eat some fish, kitty? I bet you can smell all the seafood. I know I can!

[Estelle walks into the restaurant without any consideration for the child that just injured himself. She will probably be feeling absolutely awful about all this tomorrow…]

[Wait, seafood? It's a restaurant for--no, that's not the issue here, she remembers.

While Rita couldn't care much about a whiny kid with what she sees as little more than a scratch, she knows Estelle would. The fact that her friend just completely ignored him worries her.

...Seafood restaurant or not, she'd better tag along and watch Estelle. Time to hurry and catch up! Her tail's curled down a bit in worry, now.]
